Assisted Home Health & Hospice in Los Angeles is seeking a compassionate Home Care Aide (HCA) to provide non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily support. You’ll help clients stay safe and independent at home, with training and ongoing development.

Competenze

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous caregiving experience in home care or healthcare setting preferred.
• Current TB clearance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Completion of Agency orientation and pre-service training.

Mansioni

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and general household organization.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with self-administered medications.
• Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, and recreational activities.
• Provide companionship, cognitive support, and dementia respite care.
• Document services using the agency’s WellSky system.
• Follow individualized care plans and report changes to the Program Manager or Staffing Coordinator.
• Complete required training and continuing education.
