Job summary

Vitale Nursing, Inc. is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides (HCAs) to join our private duty team in the Orange County area. You will assist with ADLs, provide companionship, and support with light meals and hydration in clients' homes or recovery suites.

Required are active California HCA registration, CPR/BLS, reliable transportation, and strong communication. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement includes active HCA registration with the CDSS and CPR/BLS certification.
• Reliable transportation and strong communication skills are essential.
• Three professional references and successful background check/fingerprint clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide personal care and companionship in homes or recovery suites.
• Support light meal preparation, hydration reminders, and feeding assistance.
• Perform non-medical medication reminders only (no administration).
• Assist with household tasks related to patient care and safety supervision.
• Report observations to supervising RN/LVN/CNA and document care per policy.
