Executive Home Care of Hacienda Heights is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to support clients in their own homes under RN supervision. You will assist with daily tasks and help maintain a safe, comfortable living environment.

The role emphasizes infection control, client privacy under HIPAA, and precise documentation. A high school diploma is preferred, with HHA certification or CNA accepted where applicable; training is a plus.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Completion of an accredited HHA training program preferred.
• HHA certification/license preferred; CNA accepted where applicable.
• Able to follow infection control procedures and safely handle body fluids.

Responsabilidades

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance to clients in their homes under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and meal prep per care plan.
• Promote a safe, clean and comfortable environment for each client.
• Observe and promptly report changes in client condition to supervising nurse.
• Follow care plans and agency policies to deliver high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services provided.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients and family members.
• Practice infection prevention and safety protocols.
• Protect client privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Complete required documentation and administrative tasks within deadlines.
