University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to provide in-home support to clients in Whitmore Lake, MI. The role focuses on safety, comfort, and well-being in clients’ own homes.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and documenting care activities. Flexible scheduling and professional development opportunities are offered.

Formación

• Experience in home care or related field preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing and walking for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Provide mobility assistance and support to clients needing help moving around their home.
• Help with meal preparation and ensure clients' nutritional needs are met.
• Manage light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
• Assist with medication reminders and monitor clients’ health conditions as instructed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote clients’ mental and emotional well-being.
• Document care activities and report any changes in client condition to supervisory staff promptly.
