Job summary

A local care service provider in Michigan seeks a Caregiver / Home Care Aide to deliver non-medical, compassionate support to clients in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meal preparation, and providing companionship, ensuring client safety and comfort is prioritized. Experience in caregiving or related certifications is preferred. This role may require travel within the service area and adherence to health regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a caregiver capacity preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients with ADLs/IADLs while maintaining client dignity.
• Provides companionship and emotional support.
• Plans and prepares meals according to dietary requirements.
• Maintains accurate records of services provided.
