Job summary

Angels Among Us in Northwest Indiana is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support for seniors and adults with disabilities in Lake and Porter Counties. The role offers pay between $15 and $19 per hour with flexible per diem scheduling.

You’ll help with personal care, homemaking, companionship, reminders, safety monitoring, and mobility support, enabling clients to remain safely at home. A driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving within the last three years.
• Ability to pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical care at clients' homes, maintaining dignity and comfort.
• Perform light homemaking, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and social engagement to reduce isolation.
• Provide medication reminders (non-administration) and safety monitoring.
• Assist with mobility and daily routines as needed.

About the Role
