Job summary

Angels Among Us is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors and adults with disabilities across Northwest Indiana. You will help with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meals, and companionship in clients' homes.

The role offers flexible, per diem scheduling and a supportive, family-oriented culture with 30+ years of care experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required to serve Lake and Porter counties.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving within the last three years.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• Must pass a background check.
• Commitment to treating every client with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting assistance).
• Homemaking (light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation).
• Companionship and social engagement.
• Medication reminders (non-administration).
• Safety monitoring and documentation.

Angels Among Us is growing, and we’re looking for dependable, caring individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities throughout Northwest Indiana.

Position: Caregiver / Personal Care Aide

Pay: $15–$19 per hour

Schedule: Flexible — per diem

Service Area: Lake County and Porter County

About the Role

As a caregiver with Angels Among Us, you’ll provide non-medical support that helps clients remain safely and comfortably in their homes. Your work brings dignity, comfort, and peace of mind to families in our community.
