Qualifications

• Must hold CALT certification and completed supervised practicum.
• Ability to explain therapy progress to families clearly and confidently.
• Experience delivering in-home academic language therapy on a weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home academic language therapy sessions on a consistent weekly schedule.
• Review assessment data to establish each student's starting point in the scope and sequence.
• Plan and teach lessons through alphabet, decoding, spelling, handwriting, and expression.
• Use discovery teaching to derive patterns from data rather than memorization.
• Track mastery daily and pace sessions based on accuracy and automaticity.
• Maintain progress data and communicate with families about progress and next steps.
• Coordinate with school staff or evaluators upon request.
• Partner with Thrive Educational Management on progress monitoring.
