Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking an In-Home Bilingual Spanish Special Education Tutor to deliver personalized instruction primarily in Spanish, with socio-emotional support, right in the student’s home in Moreno Valley, CA. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required to communicate progress with families and school staff.

This flexible, part-time W-2 role starts with one student (2–10 hrs/week) and grows as you add more clients, with resources and team support for IEP goals and language needs.

Qualifications

• AA/BA or higher in Special Education, Psychology, or Education preferred.
• Hands-on experience supporting students with special needs (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia).
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required.
• Empathy, patience, and a student-first approach.
• Reliable vehicle for local travel.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging 1:1 sessions in Spanish tailored to diverse learning needs.
• Implement creative Spanish lesson plans aligned to IEP goals.
• Adapt academic materials to each student’s language needs.
• Track progress after each session and communicate with families in English or Spanish.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, culturally responsive environment.
