Strategies to Empower People is seeking dedicated Behavioral Support Staff to provide in-home and community support for adults with disabilities in the Greater Sacramento area.

Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, 6 months to 1 year of related experience, and ASL skills. The role includes hygiene, meal help, community activities, and behavior management, with multiple shift options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma, GED, or Certificate of Completion.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of qualifying behavioral experience.
• May be required to provide CA Driver License, current auto insurance, and maintain a clear Motor Vehicle Record for positions that require driving.
• AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE (ASL) skills required (level dependent on client).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for clients with regular behavioral challenges.
• Assist with hygiene, meal preparation, and daily living activities.
• Help develop independence and community integration.
• Support behavior management and safety in in-home and community settings.
