Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring caregivers and CNAs to assist patients in the Tri-County area with in-home care on a per-visit basis. You will follow a nurse's plan of care, provide personal and household support, and build trusted relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• One year minimum hands-on care experience OR possession of a Home Health Aide Certificate or CNA license.
• Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned with reliable transportation.
• Desire to provide private in-home care with compassion, empathy and respect.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, household support and companion care per written plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, meal prep, light housekeeping.
• Support mobility, range of motion exercises and transfers as needed.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor vital signs as directed.

We are currently recruiting for Caregivers and CNA's to reliably serve patients on a per visit basis in the Tri-County area including the following cities [Mount Pleasant, Charleston, James/Johns Island, Daniel Island, Ladson/Goose Creek, West Ashley, and more!]

What you’ll do:

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. As a BAYADA employee, you’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

What makes you a great candidate:

• One year minimum work experience providing hands on care OR Home Health Aide Certificate OR Certified Nursing Assistant License
• Reliable transportation/ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
