Job summary

MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA has an immediate opening for a Full Time Home Health Aide (CNA) to provide in-home visits for our Charleston, SC office. You will join a multi-disciplinary team delivering rehabilitative and skilled nursing care to clients in their homes.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the SC Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
• Perform light housekeeping and home management tasks.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.

MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA has an immediate opening for a Full Time Home Health Aide (CNA) to provide home health visits for our MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA Office in Charleston, SC.

This position requires reliable transportation to see 5-6 patients a day in their home setting.

As a home health care CNA, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must:

• Have at least one year of work experience
• Must be listed on the SC Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Have a criminal background check completed
• Meet all state requirements

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides / CNA - Certified Nurse Aide :

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
