Givens Home First, part of the nonprofit Givens Communities in Asheville, NC, is hiring In-Home Aide and Companion roles to support residents across our campuses and the surrounding areas. We offer FT and PRN shifts from 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, with every other weekend required, plus some overnight and shorter day shifts.

You’ll provide companionship, assist with ADLs/IADLs, help with routines, and communicate updates to the care team.

Formación

• Active NC driver’s license is required.
• Ability to assist with mobility and daily tasks.
• CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience preferred, but not required.

As part of the nonprofit Givens Communities, Givens Home First supports residents within our communities and the surrounding WNC area so you can truly get to know the people you support. As an In-Home Aide and Companion, you'll have the opportunity to get to know your clients one-on-one, helping them live a healthy, happy, and safe life at home.

We’re looking for both FT and PRN In-Home Aide and Companion's to float 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, with every other weekend required. We have also started offering some 12-hour overnight shifts, as well as some shorter day shifts. This department supports both campuses, as well as off campus clients in the greater Asheville community.

What You'll Do

What You'll Need

• Must have an active, unencumbered NC drivers license
• Ability to assist with mobility and daily tasks
• Current CPR Certification is preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation is $17.00-$18.00 per hour based on experience, plus shift differentials!

We already have five communities (three life plan communities and two affordable communities) with plans for many more in the coming years.
