Job summary

Comfort Keepers Asheville seeks in-home caregivers for the Asheville/Hendersonville area. Shifts include afternoon and evening, with 20+ hours per week in private homes. Responsibilities include companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, and minor personal care for clients, primarily one senior with dementia.

Training available; no heavy lifting required; Federal Background Check is required. Flexible day and night shifts are offered; prior CNA experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Companion care for a gentleman with dementia, afternoon and evening care would involve meal prep or ordering dinner. Assisting with ADL's to get client ready for bed (dress/undress, medication reminders, grooming guidance, & standby for ambulation/transfers). Very light housekeeping needed, family has a regular housekeeper.

Looking for in-home caregivers (AM | PM shifts) to start immediately. Candidates in or around the Asheville | Hendersonville area are ideal. Most positions are lite duty which include meal prep, laundry, errands, companionship and lite personal care. 20 + hours per week in Asheville | Hendersonville. We can take someone on a job part-time and if it's a good fit for the caregiver or the client can make adjustments and increase the time as we go. Experience preferred, but not necessary, we are willing to train, no heavy lifting, dependable transportation and dependability is a must. Compensation is based upon experience. We are a small in-home care company and are seeking in-home companions and CNA's to work with our Senior aged clients primarily in the Greater Asheville | Hendersonville areas. We work in private residences, no facility work, providing companionship, meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping, light personal care assistance and errands. Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check to be hired. Flexible day and night shifts available for full and part time hours. All work is considered light duty no heavy lifting required in a private home setting.
