Job summary

CBC QHS is hiring compassionate, reliable in-home aides to provide personal care and home management to clients in their homes, hospitals, and other settings in North Carolina. Training is provided, and entry-level applicants are welcome.

Weekend availability is required, and a valid driver's license or reliable transportation helps ensure timely visits. Responsibilities include grooming, meals, medications support, room preparation, mobility assistance, and light housekeeping, with a focus on

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• 3 months or more of caregiving experience
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation
• Valid car insurance (if providing transportation to a client)

Responsibilities

• Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility
• Preparing each patient room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment and bathroom needs
• Helping patients eat and take medications
• Making sure they have regular meals and proper medication dosages
• Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff
• Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
• Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort
• Exercising patients by helping them walk
• Assist individuals with personal care needs (bathing, toileting, dressing, etc)
• Assist individuals with daily living skills (eating, cooking, etc)
• Housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc)
