Job summary

LBAPS is seeking a compassionate Registered Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy to children in home, school, and community settings across Long Island, NY. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans focused on skill development and behavior change.

This role emphasizes precise data collection, timely progress notes (within 24 hours), and collaboration with families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong understanding of ABA principles, behavior intervention strategies, and data collection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community environments.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and BIPs with consistency.
• Accurately collect and record session data, progress notes, and clinical documentation (within 24 hours) using the Rethink platform.
• Monitor and track client progress through data collection systems.
• Collaborate effectively with BCBAs, families, and caregivers.
• Participate in onboarding, training, and ongoing supervision sessions.
