Job summary

Kids First in Rockland County is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to provide in-home ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA. The role supports clients with autism and development needs, with opportunities to advance and transition to full-time as needed.

This part-time position offers hourly pay ranging from $24 to $30, with potential for growth and a pathway to certification and continued professional development within our supportive team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of providing ABA therapy
• Registered Behavior Technician or willing to obtain within 3 weeks
• Completed the 40-hour RBT course or willing to take it through our company
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to work flexible, part-time schedules with potential to gain full-time hours
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• 2+ years of experience with children/adolescents on the autism spectrum

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a BCBA to implement individualized behavior reduction and skill acquisition treatment plans
• Provide 1-on-1 in-home ABA therapy to assigned clients
• Report to the client’s home for therapy sessions and ensure a safe and positive environment
• Ensure client satisfaction by providing high quality care
• Log daily observations and report data to monitor progress
• Receive remote and/or in-person supervision by BCBA to ensure proper ABA techniques
