Job summary

Achievement Behavior Services is hiring caring, reliable, and energetic Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to work with children and adolescents with autism in Queens, NY. These are in-person, part-time positions with flexible afternoon, evening, and weekend schedules.

As an ABA Behavior Technician, you will implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision, helping clients build communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills while

Qualifications

• Experience with children or adolescents
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities
• coursework in psychology, ABA or related fields
• Registered Behavior Technician preferred but not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patient and person-centered approach
• Ability to follow written treatment plans and accept feedback
• Reliable transportation to clients' locations
• Commitment to a consistent weekly schedule
• Comply with New York State requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized ABA services in clients' homes or community
• Follow treatment plans and behavior intervention plans
• Help clients improve communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills
• Use positive reinforcement and behavior redirection
• Collect and record accurate session data
• Complete session notes after appointments
• Communicate respectfully with clients, caregivers and team
• Report progress to supervising BCBA
• Seek guidance when additional support is needed
• Maintain punctual attendance for weekly schedule
