Job summary

United Care ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) to support children with autism across NYC in-home sessions. You’ll work under BCBA supervision, follow individualized plans, and help build communication and daily living skills with families.

We emphasize collaboration, growth, and professional development, offering training, mentorship, and opportunities to advance within a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Experience with kids in educational, behavioral, or developmental settings (preferred, not required).
• A strong communicator who connects easily and takes initiative.
• Detail-oriented and dependable.
• Committed to helping kids grow in a positive, consistent environment.
• A team player who’s open to learning and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA sessions in the child’s home under BCBA supervision
• Follow each child’s individualized treatment plan
• Collect accurate data on behaviors and skills
• Help kids build communication, social, and daily living skills
• Stay in touch with your supervising BCBA and join trainings and team meetings
• Keep every interaction ethical and professional
