Job summary

A Better Way ABA is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to provide in-home ABA therapy to children with autism in the New York area. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA/LBA, collecting data and adapting plans to help clients progress.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to HIPAA confidentiality. Flexible schedule options include after-school and weekend sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year experience with children or related field.
• Familiar with HIPAA confidentiality laws.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one in-home ABA therapy to children with autism.
• Implement plans developed by a BCBA/LBA.
• Collect data during sessions to monitor progress.
• Maintain detailed session notes and records.
• Collaborate with BCBA/BTs and families.
• Respond promptly to client, family, and supervisor needs.
• Communicate clearly with families and supervisors.
