Butterfly Effects in Newnan, GA is seeking an Experienced Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a part-time role at our center. You will directly assist children with autism, implementing ABA-based behavior intervention plans and supporting families to foster essential skills such as communication and self-care.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, an RBT certification if already obtained, and a strong passion for working with children.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician Certification if already obtained.
• Passion for working with children.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience with children is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
• Observes, records, and reports on client progress daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Applies behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients to acquire academic and/or life skills.
• Communicates professionally with parents, analysts, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in the online database.
• Participates in continuous training programs to increase skills.
• Maintains client confidentiality.
