Job summary

Achievement Behavior Servies is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children in their home environments in New Jersey. You will be supported by a BCBA and implement individualized ABA plans to improve communication, focus, and adaptive behaviors.

Responsibilities include building rapport with families, documenting progress notes, data collection, and applying DTT, prompting, modeling, reinforcement, and redirection to reach goals.

Qualifications

• ABA knowledge and principles applied to coaching children with ASD.
• Strong communication with families, caregivers and colleagues.
• Ability to document progress notes and data points accurately.
• Ability to work in-home with children and coordinate with BCBA supervision.

Responsibilities

• Engage with students and build rapport to support communication and learning.
• Measure and document progress on the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
• Provide 1:1 in-home ABA therapy using DTT, prompting, modeling, reinforcement, and redirection.
• Maintain thorough session notes, data, and billing information.
• Collaborate with BCBA supervisor(s) and other staff for feedback and guidance.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
