Job summary

Lighthouse in New York City is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our ABA therapy team. You’ll work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under the guidance of a BCBA, bringing personalized therapy plans to life and building meaningful relationships with families.

You’ll implement ABA techniques, track data, and collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to adjust plans. Evening and weekend hours may be required, and prior ABA experience is appreciated but training is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in ABA therapy or working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred but not required.
• Passion for working with children on the autism spectrum.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Bring therapy to life with ABA techniques under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to each child.
• Build social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive setting.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and families.
• Track progress by collecting data and conducting assessments.
• Collaborate with BCBA and interdisciplinary team to review progress.
• Communicate updates and strategies with parents and caregivers.
• Maintain organized session notes and data records.
