Job summary

A leading air ambulance provider in Virginia is seeking full-time Flight Paramedics to deliver critical care and medical transport. The role requires active Paramedic Certification, 3 years of field experience, and various medical certifications. Qualifications

• Active Paramedic Certification in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 3 years of paramedic field experience in busy 911/pre-hospital service.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, PHTLS/ITLS.
• FP-C certification within 24 months of hire.
• Flight or transport experience preferred.
• Successful completion of Medical Group education/orientation program.
• Ability to pass a pre-placement physical exam and drug screening.
• Must maintain body weight below 235 lbs per flight policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical pre-hospital and in-flight medical care in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with flight teams, patients, and external healthcare providers.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment for emergencies.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain care standards.
• Work in a rotational schedule based on operational needs.
