Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment is seeking full-time Flight Paramedics to join our elite air-ambulance team delivering critical care in pre-hospital and in-flight settings. You will support rapid medical transport across Maryland and Virginia, operating with advanced equipment and protocols.

The role requires state-paramedic certification, 3+ years experience (5 preferred), and FP-C within 24 months, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS/PEPP and ITLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Active Paramedic Certification in the state of employment.
• Minimum of 3 years paramedic field experience (5 years preferred).
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, PHTLS/ITLS (NRP/instructor certifications preferred).
• FP-C certification within 24 months of hire.
• Flight or transport experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills for charting, email, and reporting.
• Ability to pass pre-placement physical exam, functional capacity exam, drug screening, and background check.
• Must maintain body weight below 235 lbs per flight policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical pre-hospital and in-flight medical care per protocols.
• Collaborate with flight teams, patients, and external providers.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment and supplies for emergencies.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to elevate care standards.
• Rotation schedule based on operational needs.
