Great Falls Public Schools seeks a nighttime custodian for Valley View Elementary, Monday through Friday from 2:30pm to 11:00pm. The role focuses on cleaning, sanitization, and basic boiler monitoring to support a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities include securing doors/windows, energy savings through lights-off practices, setup/tear down for events, and timely reporting of repairs to the First Engineer. Beneficial to provide reliable customer service to staff and administration.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a high level of quality cleaning/sanitization to enhance student learning environments.
• Have necessary skills to monitor low pressure boiler.
• Ensure security of building by checking/locking doors and windows.
• Be cognizant of energy savings by promptly turning off lights in unoccupied areas.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate the needs of the building.
• Set up/tear down for nightly activities.
• Report any repairs that may be needed to the First Engineer.
• Snow/ice mitigation from entryways as needed.
• Ensure the grounds have a clean appearance by maintaining lawn trimming and litter removal.
• Provide good customer service in filling requests made by administration, teachers and staff in a timely manner.
• Provide prudent stewardship and accountability of public resources by working as efficiently as possible.

EMPLOYMENT:** Monday-Friday (2:30pm-11:00pm)**

LOCATION:** Valley View Elementary**

SALARY:** $22.13 per hour (includes pension) 2026-2027**

$21.51 without boiler license
