Job summary

Seabrook Village by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Home Care Aide to provide personal care and assist with daily living activities within our retirement community. The role involves helping residents with daily tasks, housekeeping, meal planning, and escorting residents to appointments and social events.

You'll support residents' well-being through meaningful interactions, adhere to infection control practices, and collaborate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certified as a Home Health Aide, CNA, or GNA per state/federal regulations.
• Experience serving seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Support residents with routine housekeeping, meal planning/prep, pet care, closet organization and kitchen chores.
• Escort residents to appointments and social activities.
• Promote psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationships.
• Follow infection control and prevention practices.
• Notify office/nurse of any change in a resident's condition.
• Maintain competency in required job skills and knowledge.
