Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation in the United States is seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients regain function and independence in diverse care settings, including skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, and home-based care. You will design individualized programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold ACOTE-accredited degree, NBOT registration, and an active OT license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards.
• Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• The Occupational Therapist must hold a valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• As an Occupational Therapist, you help patients get well and bring their power back.
• You design a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.
• You address the whole patient and see them as an individual.
• You are adaptable to the needs of the patient and enjoy the variety of the work and settings.
• You collaborate with peers and are happy to make referrals to help patients thrive.
• You are a teacher who can train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.

Education
