Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Auditor to take ownership of audit engagements in Melville, NY, from planning through financial statement preparation. You will act as the in-charge auditor, coordinating engagements and working directly with clients throughout the audit process.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of audit experience, strong GAAP and GAAS knowledge, and a CPA or active CPA candidacy, with excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of audit experience required.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
• CPA or active CPA candidacy preferred.
• Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the in-charge auditor for engagements of varying size and complexity.
• Plan and coordinate all phases of assigned audit engagements.
• Drive engagements toward complete and timely wrap-up.
• Prepare and/or review financial statements.
• Maintain thorough and accurate audit documentation.
• Manage multiple engagements with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Communicate directly with client personnel throughout engagements.
• Participate in and present during client meetings.
• Maintain high professional and ethical standards throughout all engagements.
