The firm is looking for an in-charge senior accountant with at least five years’ experience to join our rapidly growing and energetic firm. Our staff enjoy flexible hours, summer Fridays, full-time remote & hybrid remote work arrangements and dress for your day attire!

Overview: an in-charge senior accountant is a mid-level professional who assists with the preparation of complex individual and corporate tax returns and helps review basic types of tax returns while growing professionally within the firm.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Prepare complex individual and corporate tax returns.
2. Review basic types of tax returns.
3. Assist staff with questions.
4. Perform complex research on tax-related issues and help clients with strategic questions.
5. Proactively engage, communicate and build a professional, trusted relationship with all levels of the firm and clients.
6. Complete projects and engagements within realistic budgets.
7. Continue to stay up to date on tax changes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s/master’s degree in accounting with CPA.
2. Experience with Corporate and Individual tax returns.
3. Strong communication and organizational skills.
4. Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation experience in public accounting.
5. Proficiency with CCH Axcess and Engagement.

The salary range for this position is $85,000 -$95,000 dependent on experience.
