Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA/CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associates degree in Science, Allied Health or equivalent, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• NBRC Respiratory Therapist (RRT) registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across the continuum of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and other health team members to develop care plans.
• Perform patient assessments and evaluate therapy effectiveness.
• Instruct employees and students in respiratory procedures and evaluate their competence.
• May act as in-charge therapist and preceptor as requested.
