Communication Technology Services (CTS) is seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to support the Southern California region and the Southwest region. The role focuses on developing, validating, and maintaining RF system designs that meet carrier standards, KPIs, and regulatory requirements.

You will support sales engineering and project delivery with technically sound RF solutions. The ideal candidate has strong experience in-building wireless design across DAS OEM platforms and carrier small

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical/Telecommunications engineering.
• 3–7 years of RF design experience for in-building wireless systems, DAS, or small cell networks.
• Strong RF fundamentals: propagation, interference, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF designs for in-building wireless systems (DAS and small cell) meeting coverage and capacity targets.
• Perform RF modeling and propagation analysis with industry tools.
• Design antenna layouts, distribution architectures, and system configurations for multi-carrier deployments.
• Validate RF designs against KPIs (RSSI/RSRP, SINR, throughput, coverage) and assist in optimization.
• Prepare RF design documentation and support carrier submissions.
