Job summary

Circet USA is seeking an In-Building RF / DAS Design Engineer to lead the design and optimization of DAS and IBW solutions across stadiums, airports, hospitals, and commercial buildings. You will manage RF layout, link budgets, and BOMs, with hands-on field validation to ensure performance meets carrier standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of RF engineering, DAS/IBW design, or in-building wireless design.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in iBwave Design software (RF layout, prediction modeling, BOM generation).
• iBwave Design, AutoCAD/Bluebeam, CW testing equipment, spectrum analyzers, Microsoft Office/Excel
• Working knowledge of link budget analysis, RF propagation principles, and multi-carrier/multi-band DAS architectures
• Experience with CW testing, walk testing, and RF benchmarking tools
• Demonstrated experience designing for large, complex venues (stadiums, airports, hospitals, or similar high-density environments)
• Ability to read architectural and construction drawings (CAD/Bluebeam) to inform RF design
• Experience with active DAS platforms (e.g., CommScope, JMA, Corning, SOLiD) and passive DAS components
• Familiarity with public safety DAS (ERRCS) code requirements (NFPA/IFC)
• Carrier RF approval experience (e.g., tier 1 telecom carriers in-building design review processes)
• Experience supporting neutral host or multi-carrier venue deployments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of resolving design issues at scale
• Willingness to travel to venue sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Design DAS and IBW solutions for large venues (stadiums, airports, hospitals, commercial buildings)
• Produce complete iBwave design packages including RF layouts, link budgets, coverage/interference plots, BOMs
• Lead redesign/remediation of existing DAS deployments to meet RF performance standards
• Perform CW testing, RF benchmarking, and post-deployment optimization
• Collaborate with field engineering, construction, and project management teams for constructibility and timelines
• Interface with carrier RF engineering teams to review/approve design packages
• Troubleshoot RF issues in the field and revise designs based on walk test data
• Maintain design documentation and version control across multi-phase projects
