Job summary

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing is seeking an IMSA Transport Driver to support our GTD PRO program at the shop, on the road, and at tracks. You’ll transport race cars and equipment, keep the transporter ready, and assist the crew in preparation for each event.

The role emphasizes safe driving, hands-on work, and teamwork with mechanics and engineers. Will require extensive travel and weekend work across events.

Qualifications

• CDL‑A license required.
• Clean driving record required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass DOT physical and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport race cars, equipment, and supplies to races, tests, and events.
• Operate and maintain the transporter per DOT rules and team procedures, keep logs current.
• Inspect transporter, report damage or unsafe conditions promptly.
• Load, secure, unload, and organize cars, parts, tools, and support gear.
• Set up and dismantle garage, tent, and pit areas with the crew to meet schedules.
• Maintain inventories of transporter supplies and keep work areas clean and ready.
• Support pit and paddock operations, monitor fuel and nitrogen supplies, maintain pit carts.
• Assist with wheel inventory, tire mounting/dismounting, and coordinate with engineering on tire data.
• Take on additional transportation assignments and shop errands as needed.
