BMW M Team WRT IMSA GTP program seeks a Systems Engineer to support the BMW M Hybrid V8's electronic, hybrid, and control systems. You will integrate, monitor, and analyze high‑complex data to improve reliability and race performance.

You will collaborate with WRT engineers across dynamics, energy, braking, and telemetry, delivering pre/post-event insights and developing automated data tools. Willingness to travel and operate in high‑pressure race environments is essential.

Qualificações

• Degree in Motorsport Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with strong motorsport relevance.
• 3+ years proven experience in high-level motorsport environment (LMDh/GTP, Hypercar, GT3, F1, F2 or equivalent).
• Strong proficiency with data analysis software (MATLAB, Python, ATLAS/MoTeC, Excel).
• Proficiency with CAN bus protocols, telemetry systems, and ECU architecture.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee operation, calibration, and troubleshooting of vehicle control systems, data acquisition and control units.
• Real-time monitoring of car systems during on-track sessions; identify and mitigate risks.
• Provide race strategy support with fuel and energy tracking and optimization.
• Collaborate with vehicle dynamics, tires, systems, and simulation teams to validate tools and models.
• Prepare detailed pre- and post-event reports highlighting key system insights.
• Assist in developing automated tools for data processing and visualization.
