Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development, integration, and operational IT planning across globally distributed environments. Fort Belvoir, VA is the on-site focus.

You will supervise scheduling personnel, maintain baselines, perform critical path analyses, and coordinate cross‑functional teams to align milestones with program objectives and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; 4+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years IMS experience with 2+ years leading scheduling personnel.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project (Server or Online).
• Experience with IMS development, setup, baseline management, updates, and CDRL deliveries.
• Experience with DCMA 14-point checks and schedule metrics (BEI, CPLI, SPI).
• Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI; on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, integration, and management of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Oversee scheduling personnel with guidance, mentorship, and QA.
• Establish and manage schedule baselines with timely updates and risk checks.
• Perform detailed schedule analyses including critical path and dependencies.
• Produce schedule health reports using industry metrics (DCMA 14-point, BEI, CPLI, SPI).
• Support development and delivery of CDRLs; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for milestone alignment and IT ops planning.
• Lead on-site operations in Fort Belvoir, ensuring continuity of IT services.
