Our IMR Technician processes parts within the IMR room according to established procedures on first shift (M-F 6am-2:30pm). The role requires measuring parts, using inspection tools, and documenting data in SPC records while following safety and environmental guidelines.

Position SummaryThe Inspection Measurement and Repair (IMR) Technician is a vital member of the Production Team, responsible for processing parts within the IMR room according to established procedures.

• We have a position available on First Shift (M-F 6am-2:30pm)

Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesIncludes but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Inspect parts requiring IMR processing according to OEM prints and traveler instructions.
• Measure parts using a variety of inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) to ensure they meet specifications.
• Input measurement data into Statistical Process Control (SPC) records and identify any non-conformances to notify supervisors.
• Recognize and document damage to parts, particularly on critical surfaces (e.g., etched, bent, worn).
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and perform general housekeeping in the work area.
• Understand and follow operating procedures to ensure reliable and timely processing of parts.
• Report potential conflicts or issues clearly and professionally to management.

SafetyEmployee will be trained in, and is to follow and lead by example, all general safety requirements of Pentagon Technologies as well as specific safety regulatory requirements.

Work EnvironmentMust be able to function well in an office environment. Must also be able to work in a controlled chemical and wastewater environment. Must also be able to perform in a laboratory environment. Persons who are sensitive to chemical environments with such medical conditions as asthma, allergies, or extreme sensitivity to chemicals may not be considered as good candidates for this position.

Physical DemandsMust pass Company required screening tests. The employee is regularly required to sit and stand, reach with hands and arms and perform light routine office work, which includes computer workstation usage. Should be able to pick-up 30 lbs on occasional or regular basis.
