Job summary

Total Wine & More in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Manager, Import Wine to lead buying for imported wines, shaping category strategy and supplier relationships.

You will negotiate with vendors, manage assortments, analyze sales and margins, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive growth and an excellent customer experience. The role requires 6–8 years of buying or vendor management in wine or beverages.

Qualifications

• Strong category management principles with proven ability to deliver financial results.
• Advanced analytical skills interpreting sales and margin data to drive decisions.
• Experience building, managing and revitalizing supplier relationships, including negotiating costs and driving supplier visions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with suppliers and cross-functional partners.
• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Access or other database tools preferred.
