The role emphasizes staying current with service bulletins and manufacturer training, owning personal tools, and collaborating with service advisors to communicate timelines and needs to customers.

Qualifications

• State of Michigan Mechanic Certification in relevant categories.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Advanced knowledge of import vehicle diagnostics and repair procedures.
• Ownership of personal professional-grade tools.
• Familiarity with European or Asian automotive engineering principles.
• ASE certifications are highly valued but not strictly required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify mechanical issues on import vehicles & perform video multi point inspections.
• Execute precision repairs, ranging from routine maintenance to complex engine and electrical troubleshooting.
• Document all findings and services performed clearly and accurately for our records.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace that reflects the high standards of our shop.
• Collaborate with the service advisor team to communicate timelines and technical needs to our customers.
• Stay updated on the latest service bulletins and manufacturer training to ensure our work remains best-in-class.
