Fox Motors in Michigan is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair vehicles to the highest standards. You will work with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to provide accurate updates to customers and ensure timely completion of work.

The role requires hands-on repair experience, strong diagnostic skills, a customer-first mindset, and a valid driver’s license. State ASE certifications are preferred but not required, and you’ll bring a personal set of basic

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of automotive repair/maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Certifications: ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Driver's license: Valid license with acceptable driving record.
• Tools: Personal set of basic automotive tools for daily service work.
• Attributes: Strong problem-solving ability and customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and maintenance work accurately and efficiently per standards.
• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic tools and perform repairs.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to obtain required components.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and Management for timely completion and updates.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify safety issues or maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace per OSHA guidelines.
