Motorola Solutions is actively seeking a seasoned Import Trade Operations Lead to ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian import regulations. This hybrid role requires residing in the Chicagoland area and collaborating with internal teams and external brokers to optimize import processes.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years in trade compliance, a current U.S. Customs Broker License, and deep HTS expertise to lead classifications, documentation reviews, and audits in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in trade compliance and import logistics.
• Current and valid U.S. Customs Broker License required.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. import regulations, HTS, and OGA requirements.
• Proven HTS classification expertise across diverse products.
• Strong document analysis and regulatory compliance capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with CBP and other agencies.
• Review and maintain accurate HTS classifications.
• Review import documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare financial information for value reconciliation filings.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to resolve issues and expedite clearance.
• Assist in audits and post-entry reviews.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of 19 CFR and trade laws.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
