Job summary

Piramal Critical Care is seeking an Import Export Coordinator to manage import/export activities across multiple countries. The role coordinates with freight forwarders and the customs house to ensure compliant shipments and timely processing.

The candidate should have IMDG/IATA certification, at least five years of experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to interface with Sales, 3PL, and regulatory teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliant import/export activities per US and international laws and PCC policies.
• Coordinate with customers, freight forwarders and stakeholders to resolve export issues.
• Resolve LC issues by coordinating with Sales and other departments to meet OTIF targets.
• Arrange pickup of cargos from PCC's warehouse to port or airport with trucking.
• Prepare export documents (bill of lading, packing list, invoices) per customs and carriers.
• Prepare shipments including labeling and inspection progress.
• Submit documents to carrier/freight forwarder and maintain files.
• Research/logistical issue resolution for outbound orders and returns.
• Interface with PCC Planning, Customer Relations, Transportation.
• Inbound receipt of CMO products to US 3PL.
• Manage CMO/export orders to meet requested dates.
• Communicate customer delays to PCC Management.
• Daily track and trace of CMO and ROW orders.

Job Title

Import Export Coordinator

Job Description

The purpose of this role is to process and coordinate tasks related to import and export of shipments to and from a various countries. The role will handle the transactions between PCC and the freight forward and import clearing house.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures compliant import and export activities including adhering to applicable U.S. and non-U.S. laws and regulations pertaining to international trade as well as ensuring compliance with PCCs corporate policies


• Works with customer, freight forwarders and other stakeholders to resolve issues that prevent exports


• Resolves LC and other roadblocks by partnering with Sales and other departments to ensure OTIF %


• Contacts the trucking companies to arrange pick-up cargos from PCC's warehouse to the port or airport


• Prepares necessary export documentation such as bill of landing, packaging list, invoice and other required documents by the Customs, Airline companies and TSA


• Prepares shipments including labeling, inspection and securing


• Submits documents to the carrier and freight forwarder; maintain files and data


• Researches and resolves logistical issues for outbound orders and returns


• Interface with all PCC functional groups including Planning, Customer Relations, Transportation


• Inbound receipt of CMO products to US 3PL


• Manages CMO/export orders to meet requested date


• Communicates customer delays to PCC Management


• Daily track and trace of CMO and ROW orders
