Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Working knowledge of US Customs, EAR, ITAR, ADD/CVD and allied programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with tracking license applications and determinations through BIS systems (like SNAPR).
  • Conduct screening of export orders against restricted/denied party lists and maintain related records.
  • Coordinate with engineering and materials teams to verify classifications globally.
  • Ensure export shipments have correct ECCN or ITAR munitions list classifications.
  • Follow and help improve internal import/export compliance controls and procedures.
  • Respond to CF28/CF29 notices and assist in submitting classification requests.
  • Support export license application processes and record-keeping requirements.
  • Classify imported goods using HTS and supports valuation and country of origin determinations.

Job description

This is a 12-month Full-Time Contract Position

Location: Available to sit at any of our office locations nationwide (See list of available locations); we operate in a hybrid model, 3-days a week onsite required

Under general supervision, responsible for performing import/export compliance activities of moderate complexity with increasing independence. The Import/Export Analyst II applies learned techniques and professional practices to ensure materials comply with US Customs and export control regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with tracking license applications and determinations through BIS systems (like SNAPR).
  • Conduct screening of export orders against restricted/denied party lists and maintain related records.
  • Coordinate with engineering and materials teams to verify classifications globally.

  • Proficient in relevant trade compliance software and tracking systems.
  • Working knowledge of US Customs import regulations, EAR, ITAR, ADD/CVD and allied trade programs.
