Job summary

Daimler Truck North America in Portland, OR is seeking an Import Entry Review Analyst II to help ensure customs entry data is accurate, complete and compliant before filing deadlines. You will collaborate with brokers and internal partners, analyze data, investigate exceptions, and support corrective actions to strengthen internal controls.

This hybrid role leverages Palantir, reporting tools, and automated checks to identify trends and drive process improvements across the import function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
• Experience reviewing data to identify trends or improvements.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and business applications for data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; effective stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Trade Compliance import mailbox and serve as primary contact for brokers and partners.
• Analyze exception reports, data trends, and quality indicators for compliance concerns.
• Review import transaction data to validate customs entry information accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with brokers and internal teams.
• Provide guidance on import requirements, entry data, and documentation.
• Prioritize review activities based on deadlines and risk.
• Ensure issues are resolved and actions completed accurately.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to support import compliance.
• Support automated monitoring tools and cross-functional process improvements.
