Job summary

Jobtailor in Jacksonville, FL seeks an Implementation Lead to manage large group implementations and serve as the central contact between Sales and internal teams. The role coordinates NLGP implementations, prepares timelines, and tracks progress across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years related work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or additional related equivalent work experience
  • FL Health and Life Insurance License (2-15) upon hire
  • Previous sales, account servicing, customer or similar experience with large groups
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects and/or improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of BCBSF Sales organization and health plan products
  • Proficiency in MS Office and PC-based software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with continuous improvement disciplines, process improvement tools, methodologies, and applications
  • Complex decision-making and problem-solving experience
  • Experience setting clear, actionable objectives and tactical plans
  • Understanding of the business and its organizational impact
  • Experience developing and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Experience managing multiple job duties simultaneously
  • Excellent presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large group implementations
  • Serve as liaison between Sales and internal partners for timely implementation and renewal of large accounts
  • Act as central point of contact for internal and external organizations
  • Manage and coordinate all NLGP implementations
  • Prepare SPR pre-builds and establish implementation timelines
  • Manage, evaluate, and analyze new group and renewal sales processes
  • Perform pre-calculation, final rating calculation, and implementation of ancillary sales processes
  • Develop project plans and prioritize activities against timelines
  • Coordinate review of key documents and implementation meetings
  • Monitor status, document progress, and resolve issues
  • Develop implementation-related communications
  • Incorporate BCBSF process and plan changes into implementation materials and processes
  • Build relationships with internal partners and assess impacts of product, process, and program changes
  • Communicate non-standard account requests to impacted departments
  • Coordinate alternative solutions for account requests requiring manual processing
  • Engage external partners, group decision makers, benefit administrators, agents, brokers, and consultants
  • Participate in face-to-face meetings and conference calls to establish expectations and explain benefit application and enrollment timelines
  • Communicate group needs, progress, plans, and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Track and resolve implementation and post-implementation barriers and issues
  • Develop action plans for key issues
  • Track completion of post-implementation activities
  • Lead process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives identified during implementation
