Job summary

Cleo is seeking an Implementation Engineer to kick-start a career in B2B integration, building skills in EDI, APIs, and data mapping. You will learn from experienced engineers in a structured development environment while delivering customized solutions for Cleo clients.

You’ll work on Cleo Integration Suite, demonstrate strong customer service, and help deploy solutions on time. The role includes a remote-friendly, growth-focused culture with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience indicated in prerequisites.
• Familiarity with EDI/integration concepts mentioned in prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data, integration requirements, and business processes to design and implement customized solutions for Cleo clients.
• Become an expert on Cleo Integration Suite solution functionality and implementation procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure customers get value from Cleo solutions.
• Ensure customer solutions are configured and deployed to specification, accurately and on time.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to complete projects.
• Walk clients through current vs. new architecture during processes.

Job description

Kick-start your career in B2B integration by working on enterprise EDI and integration projects. As an Implementation Engineer, you'll build foundational skills in EDI, APIs, data mapping, and business process automation while learning from experienced engineers in a structured development environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyzing data, integration requirements, and business processes needed to design, build, and implement customized solutions for Cleo clients
• Working to become an expert on Cleo Integration Suite solution functionality and implementation procedures
• Demonstrating excellent customer service so that each and every customer receives supreme value from Cleo solutions
• Ensuring the customer’s solution is configured and technically deployed to specification, accurately, and on time
• Working effectively with team members and other departments to complete projects successfully
• Process overview- walking clients through their current architecture and what their new architecture would look like

AI Fluency Competencies

• Use AI coding assistants to generate, debug, and review code snippets
• Prompt AI tools effectively to resolve errors, understand APIs, and navigate documentation independently
• Draft technical documents and test cases with AI assistance, always validating output before use
• Be familiar with using AI tools across the software lifecycle

Prerequisites

• Basic understanding of EDI, integration concepts, and data formats
• Familiarity with FTP/SFTP, AS2, HTTP/S, or similar communication protocols
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 1–3 years of experience.
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent) is an advantage

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) or other B2B integration platforms
• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or retail domains
• Basic programming or scripting skills (Java or Python)
• Interest in AI and automation technologies
