Cleo is hiring an Implementation Engineer to kick-start your career in B2B integration. You will build skills in EDI, APIs, data mapping, and business process automation while learning from experienced engineers in a structured development environment.

Join a remote-friendly team and contribute to delivering tailored Cleo solutions. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in integration and a background in CS/IT, with exposure to ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of EDI, integration concepts, and data formats.
• Familiarity with FTP/SFTP, AS2, HTTP/S, or similar communication protocols.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 1–3 years of experience.
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing data, integration requirements, and business processes needed to design, build, and implement customized solutions for Cleo clients.
• Working to become an expert on Cleo Integration Suite solution functionality and implementation procedures.
• Demonstrating excellent customer service so that each and every customer receives supreme value from Cleo solutions.
• Ensuring the customer's solution is configured and technically deployed to specification, accurately, and on time.
• Working effectively with team members and other departments to complete projects successfully.
• Process overview- walking clients through their current architecture and what their new architecture would look like.

Job description

Kick-start your career in B2B integration by working on enterprise EDI and integration projects. As an Implementation Engineer, you'll build foundational skills in EDI, APIs, data mapping, and business process automation while learning from experienced engineers in a structured development environment. #LI-Remote

• Analyzing data, integration requirements, and business processes needed to design, build, and implement customized solutions for Cleo clients
• Working to become an expert on Cleo Integration Suite solution functionality and implementation procedures
• Demonstrating excellent customer service so that each and every customer receives supreme value from Cleo solutions
• Ensuring the customer's solution is configured and technically deployed to specification, accurately, and on time
• Working effectively with team members and other departments to complete projects successfully
• Process overview- walking clients through their current architecture and what their new architecture would look like

Uses AI to accelerate project delivery — drafting implementation plans, summarizing customer requirements, and generating documentation faster. Can point to specific examples where AI improved turnaround time or output quality on a customer engagement.

• Use AI coding assistants to generate, debug, and review code snippets
• Prompt AI tools effectively to resolve errors, understand APIs, and navigate documentation independently
• Draft technical documents and test cases with AI assistance, always validating output before use
• Be familiar with using AI tools across the software lifecycle

Prerequisites

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Cleo Integration Cloud (CIC) or other B2B integration platforms
• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or retail domains
• Basic programming or scripting skills (Java or Python)
• Interest in AI and automation technologies
