Job summary

Desort in Independence, MO seeks a General Dentist to provide comprehensive tooth replacement and restorative care for adults, focusing on extractions, implants, dentures, and other prosthetic services. The practice offers advanced diagnostics, on-site lab support, and hands-on clinical mentorship.

Both experienced dentists and those looking to develop surgical and implant skills are encouraged to apply; a weekday schedule with no nights or weekends is provided alongside mentorship and ongoing

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Current or eligible dental license required to practice.
• Implant experience preferred but not required.
• Surgical experience, particularly with complex cases, highly preferred.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent chairside manner and patient communication.
• Compassionate, caring approach to patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dentists, laboratory personnel, and other clinical team members.
• Commitment to continued clinical learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on oral health and available treatment options
• Consult with patients, perform examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide extraction and surgical dental services, including complex cases as appropriate
• Provide removable, fixed, and implant-supported tooth replacement solutions
• Assist with the planning and delivery of dentures, partials, implants, and related prosthetic services
• Collaborate closely with laboratory personnel in the design and fabrication of dentures and partials
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care with strong chairside communication
• Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and follow professional standards
• Stay current with developments in dentistry through continuing education and professional development
