Silicon Desert Staffing in Florida is seeking an experienced Equipment Engineer for semiconductor manufacturing. You will own and optimize high-end implant equipment, monitor performance, and guide upgrades from concept to implementation.

The role requires 5+ years in semiconductor equipment engineering with Ion Implant expertise, and hands-on training of technicians. Strong problem solving and supplier coordination are essential.

Competenze

• 5+ years semiconductor equipment engineering experience with ion implant expertise.
• Experience supporting implants such as AMAT 9500xR / Varian E220/E500 or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent; substitution may be allowed for formal education requirements.

Mansioni

• Own/SME for assigned equipment and monitor performance.
• Train technicians and troubleshoot complex equipment problems.
• Design, test, and implement equipment improvements and modifications.

Job Responsibilities

· Owner/Subject Matter Expert for assigned equipment.

· Monitor and improve equipment performance. i.e. availability, throughput, line yield, and cost of ownership.

· Generate and update tool Maintenance specifications as needed.

· Assist and train (hands-on) technicians as needed.

· Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems; define and implement solutions.

· Design, test, and implement equipment improvements and modifications.

· Identify and evaluate second source parts suppliers; address parts obsolescence issues.

· Assist with equipment purchases, installations, relocations, and qualification.

SHIFT: Monday - Friday, 8a-5p

Experience

• 5 or more years of Semiconductor experience in Equipment Engineering, Ion Implant expertise required.
• Experience supporting the following implanters, AMAT 9500xR, Varian E220/E500, or equivalent

Experience (Preferred)

• Past experience supporting the following implanters, AMAT 9500xR, Varian E220/E500, or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an OEM Field Service Engineer a plus. Additional Experience (Desired):
• Experience supporting Thin Films equipment, AMAT 5500 Endura, Novellus C1, Varian 3XXX, WJ999R, AMAT P5000/P5200, or equivalent.

Qualifications

+ BS or equivalent in appropriate Engineering discipline.

+ Qualified work experience, training, or military training and service in the proper engineering area may be substituted for the formal education requirement.

Pay Salary: $125-160kBASEdependingonexperience.

• Annual bonus 10-15%
• Incentive: $5-10k sign on bonus (Depending on experience)
• Relocation: $5-10k package (Depending on experience)
• Annual tenure increaseon top of annual performance bonus.
