Job summary

The Cambridge Department of Human Service Programs is seeking a Youth Worker to implement age‑appropriate activities for Pre‑Teen and Middle School Youth Center Members aged 9–13. You will collaborate with Group Leaders, the Program Director, and the Youth Center Director to guide participants through programming, service projects, and leadership development while upholding the program's values.

• Experience working with youth in an academic, recreational, or athletic setting.
• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse identities, cultures and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate activities for Pre-Teens (ages 9–13).
• Coordinate with Program Director and Youth Center Director.
• Plan and run Youth Center programs and activities.
• Provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment for youth and volunteers.
• Attend staff meetings and training; be a positive role model.
• Perform other duties as needed.
